Studio Outside Principal Jessica Clements to Headline DFWAPPA Winter 2026 Quarterly Meeting
The Dallas–Fort Worth Association of Physical Plant Administrators (DFWAPPA) is proud to announce Jessica Clements, Principal at Studio Outside, as the featured speaker for its Winter 2026 Quarterly Meeting, taking place February 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dallas College Richland Campus.
Clements will present on “Nature + People,” an exploration of how thoughtful design at the intersection of landscape, architecture, and urban systems can create meaningful, high-performing environments. Her talk will highlight the critical role of the “space between buildings” and how integrated, experiential design enhances educational and civic campuses.
DFWAPPA’s mission is to provide valuable training, innovative support, a strong communications network, shared information, and accountability to continuously improve educational institutions across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Quarterly meetings bring together facilities leaders, business partners, and industry experts for networking and technical presentations that showcase emerging technologies and best practices in facilities management.
With more than a decade of professional experience, Jessica Clements brings a multidisciplinary and systems-driven approach to her work at Studio Outside. A registered Architect with extensive expertise in landscape architecture and urban design, her projects are grounded in ecological, social, and physical context - resulting in cohesive, people-centered spaces.
Clements has played an integral role on numerous retail, mixed-use, and master-planned developments at Studio Outside and has contributed to two ASLA National Excellence in Planning Award–winning projects in New Orleans. In addition to professional practice, she has served as an adjunct faculty member at The University of Texas at Arlington, teaching in the College of Architecture, Planning, and Public Affairs.
Her academic background includes a Master of Architecture, Master of Urban Design from Washington University in St. Louis, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, she enjoys experiencing landscapes firsthand through running and cycling.
